He graduated from LIPA Sixth Form College and with a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern School of Contemporary Dance with further training at Orsolina28 and b12 Festival. He has collaborated closely with companies and artists such as Phoenix Dance Theatre, Jasmin Vardimon Company, Jamaal Burkmar, FLOCK and Evelien Jansen. His own choreographic works have been commissioned and performed at TURN 2026 presented by Contact Theatre + Word of Warning (Manchester, UK), Leap Dance Festival presented by Liverpool Dance Prize and Arts Council England (Liverpool, UK), YFX Festival at Sadlers Wells East presented by Resonance Dance (London, UK) and at the 9th International Solo Contemporary Dance Festival presented at CerModern (Ankara, Türkiye).

Joseph’s artistic direction is grounded in multidisciplinary inquiry, where movement intersects with sound, visual practices, and embodied exploration. Dance operates as a meditative experience that softens the sense of time and heightens awareness of sensation and internal rhythms. Through improvisation, and deep bodily listening, movement becomes an act of contemplation. This meditative framework allows dance to connect inner states with outward expressions, shaping motion into a subtle dialogue between body, mind, and the space around it.
